Mid-Century Watercolor Marsh Landscape with Palms and Cactii, Unsigned celadon The cap shows some ageI believe the landscape pictured here is the Lowcountry of Southern South Carolina and that the gestural, near horizontal branch coming in from the right is of a very old Oak. While I've been really into serene British watercolor seascapes of late, in part for their calming effects, I find this wonderfully immersive and transportive in a different direction, and super satisfying in its lushness; one can almost hear the cicada singing away!
